Sources close to the London club indicate that nothing has changed despite Real Madrid’s late interest. Zubimendi has reportedly already reached an agreement with Mikel Arteta’s side, and Arsenal are pointing to the deal they have in place with both the player and Real Sociedad.
According to *Marca*, some English sources have mentioned the existence of signed documents, including details beyond just the financial terms. Arsenal are said to be paying €65 million—€5 million above the player’s release clause—in instalments.
The Gunners expect Zubimendi to be part of their pre-season tour of Asia in July and remain optimistic about finalizing the transfer.
